Ingredients:
2 1/4 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
1 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
Dash of nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 egg
1 3/4 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/3 cup maple syrup
1 cup diced pears
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. In a bowl, mix together the spices, oats and baking powder. In another bowl, beat the egg, the milk, syrup and vanilla. Pour the liquid mixture into the oat mixture and mix in the pears. Pour the mixture into a well oiled dish and place in the oven. Bake for about 30 minutes, until its set and starts to brown.
