Oat Waffles

These are not the fluffy, super sweet waffles I grew up with,  but they are gluten free and very filling.

Ingredients:

2 cups of rolled oats

1 tsp. vanilla

1/4 cup applesauce

2 tbsp. of honey

1/2 tsp. of baking powder

2 cups of water

1 tsp. cinnamon

 

Directions:

Put all of the ingredients in a blender, and blend until smooth. Pour batter into waffle iron and cook.

    These look really good and not too challenging to make either! Is this your own recipi​e or is it adapted from Pinterest?

    I tried making pancakes from oat flour and they didn’t come out right. I think I’ll give this one a try. I don’t need it to taste exactly like other waffles, only like something good.
