Autism myths I think are b s!

It’s like she read my mind. Not only are these myths annoying, they are actually quite harmful. Children are dying of preventable diseases because parents are too scared to vaccinate them. It’s also really ridiculous that I have had to tell umpteen people that my son doesn’t do party tricks like Rainman. One guy actually dropped pencils on the floor for him to count with his autism.

I have wanted to slap people who have expected me to be their entertainer. I struggle, one way or another, to successfully get through a day. That is enough for me to do, without being the Local Foil.
